I’m hearing all the reasons why NOT:
- “It is going to be too hard.”
- “Our people are not ready for that.”
- “You should just list the properties like everyone else does.”
Why? Especially when we have a plethora of people in homebuying programs for years.
Intentionally, I’m providing the community the first opportunity because I know the challenges in the journey since I’ve lived it myself.
One purchase of an essential item on a credit card for $100 can potentially throw a debt ratio off, risking their entire loan approval.
A pre-approval from a community-based organization is NOT often viewed as a strong buyer, leading to losing house after house to other traditional lenders more commonly perceived as stronger buyers in the marketplace.
